Every Sunday in May, National Park Service Rangers will lead guided walks through Mount Auburn’s federally designated National Historic District. This approximate 90-minute walk (length one mile) introduces visitors to the interesting history and architectural variety that identifies Mount Auburn as one of Cincinnati’s core communities.
The guided walk along Auburn Avenue provides insight to the diverse architectural styles still present in the Mount Auburn neighborhood. In addition, the program will include stories of many of Mount Auburn’s earliest residents; individuals who worked to shape their community and country, and whose examples still inspire us today.
Meet at the Taft Education Center.
